During the German occupation in Paris, Robert Klein, an Alsatian who buys works of art at low prices, receives redirected to his name, the newspaper "Les Informations Juives" which is issued only by subscription. He soon discovered that a Jewish homonym used his name as a screen for mysterious activities. He then decides to follow the trail that will lead him to this stranger.
